System Types

D2D offers only the most advanced fully automatic parking systems available

Parking requirements were severely limiting the development potential of properties in and around urban areas, so these systems are intended to park as many cars as possible in a confined space.

The Crab N Hook System s a slim platform with smart arms that move under the vehicle and adjust to its dimensions. The Crab n Hook then swings its arms out to secure the tires and lifts the vehicle up by its wheels. Then transfers the vehicles onto the Omni-Vator for transport through the system.

The Free-Roaming Coaster System is a smart Roomba-like system. Here the pallet sits atop a smart guided vehicle. Vehicles roam untethered throughout the system on platforms guided by a Smart Coaster that moves in any direction.

The number of shuttles in the system is flexible and is based on the client’s throughput and budgetary requirements.

A grid of motor-driven pallets covers a solid floor or steel rails. The matrix is installed with two fewer pallets per floor facilitating the internal shift and shuffle movements. The pallets maneuver with the vehicle to the desired location, e.g. stalls, elevator…

Puzzle systems provide flexible layout options as the system configuration is highly adaptable. Pallets can be maneuvered from one support frame to an adjacent one in any direction. This means the system shape can vary greatly, instead of being rectangular or square, puzzle systems can also be “T” shaped, “U” shaped, “L” shaped, “H” shaped…. This also makes maneuvering around structural members possible that may not otherwise be possible with other system types.

Lifts are used when multiple floors are employed.

With a Rotating System the vehicles can be done on a Turntable in the Car-Port, on an elevator, or within the parking system.

bring the latest and upcoming technologies to enhance efficiency and convenience.

It is a high priority at D2D to bring the latest and upcoming technologies to bear where it enhances efficiency and convenience.

Our optional D2D Charging station is available with all of our automatic parking systems. With EV’s becoming more prevalent, charging these vehicles as an amenity brings great value to the driver and a further potential source of income for the owners.

Once the EV is parked in the Car-Port, a charging cord connected with the pallet automatically charges the vehicle using a ‘Level 2’ system at the dedicated stalls. Think Rumba like system here.

Once charged, the D2D System automatically moves the vehicle from the charging station to a non-charging stall. This now makes room for other vehicles to be charged. With smart algorithms in place, fewer charging stations are needed and can be utilized to charge other vehicles.

Like the charging option, the vehicle is maneuvered into a dedicated Car Wash Container. Utilizing a 100% touchless system, the vehicle is washed and dried all using recycled water. When the process is completed the vehicle is returned to its stall ready for the owner’s call.

While the owner is at work or shopping, they return to a charged shiny car. The is Lexus’s level of service.

Instead of delivering a vehicle pallet to load a car, instead, a container pallet arrives at a Car-Port. With options for different layouts with or without shelves. And just like the superior experience when parking, the same holds true when storing. Instead of loading up a hand truck traversing a characterless, desolate, and claustrophobic warehouse, one summons their container, loads items for storage in the same well lit and appointed Car-port used in the parking system. When done the user locks the container and the system safely parks the container in an available stall.

And because the storage containers are dimensionally the same at (7.3 ft x 19 ft x 7.8ft) as the vehicle pallets, it offers the owner flexibility to shift use from parking to storage as demand varies.

To provide higher Peak Traffic (the number of cars in and out per hour) in the system, Robotic Parking Systems developed special Loading & Unloading Stations that can be installed on the side of the actual drive-in terminals. These specialized terminals are for the patron’s convenience for loading or unloading the car, or in case someone forgot something in the vehicle after it has already been transferred inside the system. Vehicles cannot be driven off these terminals, and they are only accessible through a man door.

For applications that require high security, Robotic Parking Systems can install an extremely sensitive drive-through portal that detects narcotics, explosives, radioactive materials, plastic weapons, and even bodies hidden inside trunks. The security portal would be installed in the driveway to the Robotic Parking System just prior to driving into the entry terminals. The security portal creates photo-like gamma-ray images revealing the threats.
